Hey everyone. I'm looking to get a new lens for my E-500 and am having some trouble deciding on what's best for me. I want one with a small focal length, with my 50-200mm I feel like I have all my telephoto needs covered. I really have been wanting a macro lens, but also want to be able to use it for everyday things like portraits, landscapes, etc. With Olympus I don't have too many options as far as lenses go, but I've seen 4 worth looking at:
Olympus 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5- $424.95
Olympus 50mm f/2.0 Macro- $424.95
Sigma Normal 30mm f/1.4 EC DC HSM- $429.00
Sigma Wide Angle 24mm f/1.8 EX DG DF Macro- $339.00
All seem like pretty good choices; the large apertures are great, prices aren't too steep, but I'm wondering whether a prime lens is for me and if I will regret not picking up a macro lens while I have the chance. I know the macro can double as an everyday lens as well, but the standard won't necessarily double as a macro, so it all seems like each trades off something for something the other has or doesn't have.
Any input to help me would be greatly appreciated, I feel like I'm a little in the dark on this one.
