Welcome to TPF. As Doug said, you should be able to post pics right away (although there's a waiting period for voting on contests, and having access to the PM system). The instructions for posting pics can be found here.

to "upload" i think you have to be a subscriber.
but to post images you need to have them uploaded at some other site, and include the link here using the

button.
