New Printer

I was looking for a high quality printer and didn't know what every one was using. I will be printing mainly 4x6 and sometimes 5x7 anything larger will be sent to lab. I have been looking at dye sublimation printer and are not really sure what the difference is between those and inkjets or lasers. I am willing to spend up to $300-$400.
