new to photography

what do you guys think on my first pics? they are with a samsung L73 camera, im going to be getting a canon EOS XTI sometime soon, but i thought i would at least spend some time getting used to editing, they were all edited useing "Gimp" the cars are dirty but i did my best to clean em up on Gimp...what you think?
