Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
So....I just bought my first nice camera. I have always been interested and intrigued by photography and finally pulled the trigger
and bought a NIKON D3100. These are a few of the shots I have taken and wanted to share them :D

Looking forward to reading and contributing to this forum.

-Bill

welcome KillBill...i am in the same boat as you.. i just bought one a few weeks ago and i am in love.. so we can be newbies together..lol

Unless you have technical questions the Beginners forum is the wrong place to share, based on the beginners forum description.

Which is why your thread got move to the General Gallery.

Your top 2 photos have white balance issues. The yellowish-orange color cast is usually caused by using a tungsten/incandescent light source with the camera's white balance set to sunlight.

The camera doesn't see like people do and it has to be told what color temperature or type of light the main light source is. That is what the camea white balance setting is for.

Hey Kill Bill, they match your jumpsuit!

Very neat shots.... and i really like the attitude of your doggie while it carries a blue bone :D

How thrilling would be it to open the box of a new gear!! happy times and happy clicks !!!

Regards :D

Thank you for the feedback!

My apologies for not starting the thread in the appropriate section.

My dog Bogey says "thank you" for the compliments :)
