New Zealand Paradise duck

Endemic to New Zealand this Paradise duck and this time the female is far prettier than the male in the bird world ........ IMO

6: Male and female flying through the estuary

7: Male and two females !!! Someone is getting greedy

Beautiful shots... Super sharp + great light... Love the bokeh... 1,2,3 might be cropped lil too much. I'd leave a bit more space in front of the ducks. That's just me. Nice set. Thanks for sharing...

Starting to sound like some have been hanging around the large US based bird photography forums lately Next will be the dreaded 25 degree's bird shot. Personally I like to see the details, not space.

So this does nothing for me

So yep, a personal thing for sure. I'll keep cropping tighter for the details.

Wow! Those males look like the mirror opposite version of the females in colours, what gorgeous colours they have. My fav are #3 & #6. Very cool shots Danny

Great shots as always.I never seen ducks like these,they are stunning with color and texture.First time I think the female bird has better color then the male this time. Keep doing what your doing Danny they are great.
