:hug:: Hello all! I'm new here and I have many images I'd like to be looked at, but here are a select few I've chosen from my bunch for you to look at. Please give me a little feedback, even though this isn't the critique forum. Thanks! (I hope they're not too big.)

This is Sven! One of my projects for school was to find different lighting situations using this mannequin. I got fed up with it and decided to stage a little scene of my own. What do you think?

Same concept, do you think it's too dark?

Touched it up and cleaned it up a little in Photoshop, what do you think?

I dunno, it reminds me of Fairies! I like that kind of thing.

What do you think of the composition?

Last one! I swear! Tried flower photography. I like the colors. :3

Great work. Sven is a little dark in the second pic, but it might be my monitor here at work. Love the last shot too. Welcome to the form.

Welcome to the forum.

I think the composition of your images is good, with the exception of the flower shot, which is a bit too.... well... "there it is". The rule of thirds is probably worth bearing in mind, and perhaps a bit of off-centredness would improve it.

A good start though - I look forward to seeing more of your pictures.

I really like the shot of the lane with trees. Very nice use of lines. I like the flower shot too, but it might not be a bad idea to change perspective and shoot it from a lower angle. Maybe focusing the background in a bit might work too. I like the color saturation on the flower too. The manequin stuff is a little off my radar in terms of abstractness, those shots always seem cluttered to me for some reason. Nice shots, can't wait for more.

I like those last ones. The one with the path the most. Great colours and I'm going to come back to this thread tonight when I can see them better (light on the monitor right now). :thumbup:
