Hey i gave you honest feedback. Don't go around telling people you wanna be a "Pro Photographer" because you you want to the "the guy who takes photos of beautiful woman" thats just creepy.

And then you basically say I dont know anything about photography and ask how you can be a "Pro"

What your post basically is saying to everyone is I only want to learn photography so I can be around beautiful women.

If you really are as creepy as you came across then women are not going to let you photograph them anyway.

Please reread your original post objectively.

I also suggested that because your a student why not take a photography class. I know I learned more from a hands on class with assignments that pushed me then I could learn from reading a forum. A class will also give you a solid foundation that you can then use to get more out of the forum and be able o understand what people are talking about here.

It's great to have ambitions to want to become something better than you are. The hardest part is taking all the necessary steps to get to there. For P&S cameras, I have always liked the Canon Powershot SX series. I had an SX110 IS along with a few powershots previous to that. One of the best things you can read, is the manual for the camera you end up getting. Understand the camera in and out.

Also, this forum has many great articles to read up on all found within the search option. Are there certain articles you are looking for online? Basic Photography 101 types of stuff? Also, have you searched for anything yourself?
