Newbie With Memory Card Question

I have a 256 MB Sandisk Memory Card in my camera. I was viewing the pics. and the battery in the camera died. I lost all of the pics. on the card. My question is can the images be retrieved from the card some how ? Thanks Tony

Just because the battery died while you were looking at the pics shouldn't mean the card lost all images!

Charge that puppy up and check again. Or just use a card reader that you hook up to your computer and check this way.

Thanks for the reply Kim. I have a friend that helped me out. He has a card reader and I didn't know of suck a thing. It's all new to me, but I'm learning. He was able to remove the pictures from the card. Again thanks for the reply and help.:thumbup:
