Newborn Session C&C

Does that mean you aren't a professional with babies or that you are anti-baby? jk

I'm kinda with most of the other people, I think they are pretty good, but also that 3 leaves something to be desired (not sure what though- still a noob). I also feel that in 4 the left hand (right side of picture) seems a little too bright. I know that with b&w lighting/contrast/highlights are very critical since it stands out a lot without the distractions of color. But maybe it's just me.

Quick question...

I'm not sure what they are called but in #2 is that one of those mats/ backdrops that looks like wood?

Yes it is a backdrop that I purchased. It is amazing! www.lemondropstop.com is where I got it, she has a great quality product and super fast shipping time.

One thing to remember...beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some photographers may say "That's not technically correct" or "This isn't edited right" and you'll be all paranoid and worry, worry, worry.....but your client will love it and that is what matters in the long run. That is what gets you more business. Though you do want to be "right" in how you do it so that it does look correct, etc. for your client.

For me, I love the baby yawning just as it is.

I love the so-called "snap shot" too. I would have grabbed that right up like you did. Mama will love it.
