News Forum?????

I think it would be cool to have a news forum where anybody could post news/advancements in photography, whether it be a new lens coming out or that a certain company is discontinuing to produce a certain type of film. Does anyone else think this would be a good idea?

Yes, we had this on another forum I frequented...
We'd need a section for "photography" one for "other technology that is related to photography" and "random stuff off topic news"...

I know that general news sections suck...lol

But you have a good idea. It could work. Also brings more traffic to the site, if we talk about all the newest stuff and headlines.

If it stays purely on the the topic of photography, for either new equipment or product updates, we could either revise the "Equipment Reviews..." forum description to include that, or possibly start a sub-forum.... I'm not sure how much traffic a sub-forum would actually receive, though....hmmmm.
