i took this picture in times square and i didn't really love it in color or in b&w, so i tried a mixture of the two. what do you guys think?

wonder how a reverse desaturation of it would work out... i.e. desaturate the news stand and leave everything else around it color... not sure, but the parallel of newsprint being black & white etc, intrigues me.

interesting idea, but i don't like it as much that way. The colors that surround it aren't vibrant and diverse enough. I think it loses something this way. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Interesting to see, but I still prefer the third of the first series (only the newsstand in colour) over the reversed selective colouring.

I admire all you PS experts for your abilities --- I no longer even have PS... the old version won't run with my new Windows (it was only compatible with the old 98, and my children have made me too poor to be going getting me a new version of Photoshop... )
