Next lens to purchase for Canon 650d

Few months ago I had just purchased my first slr ie 650d with a standard lens kit.

I want to understand what would be the next lens I should buy. I know there is a lot I need to learn but need direction from you experience people out there.

i like to take night and landscape shots particularly as I am in Hong Kong at the moment.

your help and advice will be appreciated

Your kit lens can do landscapes. If you want better quality and wider angle, go with the 10-22mm.

If I were you I would pick up the 50mm 1.8. When I got this lens I didn't think I would use it much, but after I started to see the quality of it, I use it for most of my shots.

No camera is happy if it doesnt have a nifty fifty so I would start with a 50mm f1.8, super cheap lens that produces amazing results and is good for night photography and in door shooting.
