Feedback per req:

1. The pose seems slightly awkward and uncomfortable, but the lighting and focus are good. Avoid, when possible, such busy, and distracting backgrounds.

2. A bit tightly cropped for my taste. Avoid having the subject mover their eyes quite so far; ideally you want to see just a bit of sclera on either side of the iris, and watch your focus; the point of focus here appears to have been her hand.

3. Very nice; the strongest of the set IMO, but it needs to be leveled. Consider using a reflector or fill flash to pop just a bit of light in and give her eyes a nice catchlight.

4. Nice, but avoid the cropped bits, in this case her toes. It gives the appearance of careless composition, and gain, level the image.

5. Not overly fond of the Dutch tilt, but that's a matter of taste; I'd like to see just a bit more of her head.

Overall, a nice series.

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

Pretty lady, fer sure. Relaxed, casual feel. Simple poses, simple scenes. I like that. I think the black point is too high; her hair seems to be losing detail more than it should. He skin tone in the last one appears too ruddy and magenta, compared against the earlier frames.

#1 and #3 are my favorites here.
the last one looks like it was processed differently, making it look kinda "off" with the rest of the set.
I think her arm placements kills #4 for me. not that its a "bad" picture, but its pretty similar to #3, and #3 much nicer.

#3 is definitely my favorite of the bunch. In #1, the background is really distracting to me. It doesn't seem like it was very intentional. Overall a good set.

Agree with TiredIron's thoughts. It also kinda looks like you missed focus in #4 (also slightly too forward?) in addition to #2.
The crack in the last photo is an odd distraction. The same crack works better in #2 to balance/frame her, whereas here it looks more like I expect to see her arch nemesis to appear frame right any second.

Not bad actually. Looks like a fun, loose shoot. Good set overall with good attention to posing, backgrounds and expression, although the first background is a bit distracting. The white balance needs some help across the set. I'm getting a slightly purpleish tint on my calibrated system. That just makes it harder for the lab to get it right and it also tells me you're not calibrated, which means you could be making unnecessary adjustments in editing. The last image could have used better light. There's a bit of a hot spot on the mask of her nose and cheek bones. A bit of soft directional light from the right, or maybe a reflector, would've helped create more of an even pattern. If I were to get technical, I'd say her head should have been turned more toward camera left so that her left eye wasn't protruding from her face. That's not technically a 2/3 view. The eye should be contained within the flesh. You want a more well defined notch of the eye socket. I would also want stronger catch lights. In the first pose I would have lit from camera right, through the body and into the face of a female. That helps accentuate her form.

Way too much magenta. a WB adjustment would help.

thanks for the feedback guys

i never have calibrated my laptop. not sure how. ill try adjusting the magenta.

Having shot a black model of similar color, I can tell you the olive skin tones are a ***** to work with - they seem to be a moving target during the shoot

Overall I think you did a good job

A loose shot where the model seemed at ease and enjoying it.

Nice work
