Nikon 35mm af-s lens

Hi there!! I am just wondering if anyone could tell me if they use a 35 mm prime lens at all. If so for what type of Photography-- I have a Boudoir session coming up and I am wondering if it will be good for that--THANKS so much!!

I guess it depends what size sensor your camera has. On a crop sensor this lens will provide what is typically regarded as a normal field of view. The trouble with wide angle lenses and people is it tends to exagerate the size of body parts nearer the camera. I suppose some things could be heeled with a bit of exaggeration but usually girls don't like to appear to have big noses or big hands or big feet or for that matter big back ends.
