Just picked up a second camera body and my first 70-200mm f/4 lens. As soon as they arrived today I ripped them out of their boxes like a school boy and was off to class.

After class, I just drove around town for about 30 minutes and snapped random pics from my driver's seat. Whenever I was stopped at a light... etc. I posted a few of them on my SmugMug if anyone here would like to take a look. All in all I really like it so far. Glad I didn't fork out the big bucks for the the f/2.8.

2 D800's...

What's in the crumpler box? A strap?

Yeah. I like their style. I have their newest strap & backpack.

I have a black rapid strap, but I love my Crumpler Customary Barge Deluxe.

I decided to try it out at night. I wanted to see how the body/lens combo did with noise at high ISO.

This image was shot hand held at f/10 and ISO H2.0 on the D800 & 70-200mm f/4 lens. Time stamp was around 10pm tonight.

Holy crap Marie

That's actually not bad at all...

Its pretty crazy the amount of detail you can get with little to no light and super high iso settings with the d800. If you can deal with the noise and dont need a perfect image, its almost color night Vision. Turn it on live view with a fast lens in darkness at high iso and low shutter speed
