Nikon Coolpix 8700, 8 Megapixels!

Sony and Nikon came out recently with 8 megapixel cameras. I checked the Nikon Coolpix 8700 and loved all the specs! While it doesn't have interchangeable lenses, it has a zoom equivalent to 35-280mm in 35mm SLRs. Can also produce a 20x30 poster size photo!

Any comments from you guys and girls? I am considering it for now.

I don't know about those to, but the Canon Pro1 is like my wet dream (not to be graphic or anything, ha ha).

I would go to Steve's Digicams and look at the comparison pictures between the Canon Pro 1, Nikon 8700 and Sony 828.

They are all impressive cameras but I thought the Pro 1 pics were the best.
