did you set this one up... with a capture and placement for an early morning shoot? I am a sneaky son, but I can't get that close to them unless they are still lethargic from the nights cold.

Nope. No set up. For some reason many of the dragons in Livingston, Louisiana are very very passive and there seems to be very little reaction to humans. I moved closer and closer, it'd fly off and come back to perch, and get closer and closer, then it'd do the same thing again. Luckily for me, it perched in the same position each time it landed (I think twice or three times). I was using the D7k setup so the working distance is almost over 1 ft.
