Noob advice and improvement

I am fairly new to photography but am currently enrolled in a high school photo class. I am learning multiple types of ways to improve my photos and have found this field to be exciting and allows me to use my creativity.
Just wondering how others use different programs such as photoshop or any artistic ideas others use to enhance their photographs.

Any thoughts are welcome :-D

This is a quite broad question. How about you just share some pictures for now. And welcome to the forum.
