noob buying advice please

Hi,
heading off on hols in a couple months and i'm thinking of using it as an excuse to get myself a new camera. i've been kinda in the mind for a bridge, the fuji hs30exr and the Lumix fz150 caught my fancy for features and looks, but i've also seen stonking reviews for the lumiz tz30. one issue w/ the 150 is the price of an extra battery etc.
i'm going to be doing a load of snapping, but i also wanted a camera that can do good macros and darkness ~ i'm hoping to get out to get some good night shots.

any thoughts, advice or opinions would be welcome, as well as suggestions for other cameras than the above. my top end would be about £350~400. don't mind getting a used/refurbished if people can recommend reputable firms.

I recommend the panasonic on the strength of my fz28 which is a good all around camera. The fz150 is newer and better. It will do macro, darkness will always be a push for these type of cameras. For info by the time you go Panasonic may have released their fz200 which has an f2.8 lens throughout its zoom range. This will help your darker shots

thanks. i like the Panasonic too. the advance bits on the net suggest the 200 will be way past my budget.
