I've been away for a while, but here's this weeks quota as promised ;)
Some of you may have seen these on flickr though, I need some fresh material to post here  But for the time being, these will have to do, comments mandatory and critiques appreciated as always :)

The only thing cuter, is when they get into your house while you are away on vacation!

Nice job on these squirrel portraits.

Love squirrels and chipmunks they are super cute but I have way to many squirrels and the super cuteness is wearing off. I wish I could safely relocate a couple hundred of them.

Number one is my favorite!! well done.

I hear ya! The year we lived in an apartment the squirrels were as bad as rats. The ATE my Christmas lights, in like ten places. I don't see squirrels where we live now, but we do have a chipmunk living in our drain pipe. I like to throw him scraps so he stays outside. ;-)

Nice job - all I get is their butts.

Very nice! I think I would do a fairly drastic crop on #3 to get rid of most the left and some of everything except squirrel. as for the little blighters themselves, I think they are kinda cute until they raid the bird feeders.

Great shots, #2 is spot on for detail. #1 is cutest

Send them right over David, I'd love to have some more of them :D

Not many bird feeders like them.. Thanks Brian. :)

What's interesting is that none of you seemed to like #3 as compared to the other two, and you even mentioned cropping the left part. I'll have to admit, I thought it would be the one to get the most attention, maybe because it was my favorite.

I'd be interested in some opinions on the last one, why do you not like it? Is it because of the blown out highlights, or the centered subject?

Yup, for me it's mostly the blown out parts, but to keep the squirrels nose from touching the left edge you'd have to crop all over. The squirrel's expression and posture definitely make it worth a try.

Are those with the new camera, Raj? If so, good to see you mastering that thing!!
