Photos NOT OK to edit
I don't believe I have posted this shot yet... Just wanted to get some feedback on anything I might be able to improve upon.

You didnt HDR this did you? Nice shot! I think if you go even wider it will make this photo look even cooler.

Off roading shots are a little tricky to get. I always found it hard to get the photo to show the extream angles or articulation of the veh oh just how steep the climb was. To me this just looks like your sitting on a small stone but in reality their is probably a foot of terrain difference. A couple of things you could have done here same side of veh just gotten more of the side of the veh or from the back side, or you could have gotten the shot from the other side shooting across the front of the truck. The best way to get a idea of what works well is park your veh the way you did and snap a 100 or so shots of it from every possible angle you can think of then you will see some interesting shots thats how i figured out what worked best when on the trail.

That place looks familiar.... reminds me of Hungry Valley...that was fun place to go trail riding

Nice shot! good exposure and sharpness the only thing i feel here is that the angle makes the SUV look smaller than it is , i think the shot should have been closer to the wheel making it look much larger.

Thanks guys... It's a single exposure, and yes, that's Gorman (Hungry Valley).

like the shot, but another angle like said before could have been better

what i would try is to get a bit closer, a bit lower, and maybe a tiny bit to the right, to make the perspective of the car much stronger. Like said before, try every composition you can think of and then see what works and why. Also consider cutting a bit off the car. It can be interesting to not have the subject in the center of the photo and to have the surroundings all around it. And if you look at the lines in the picture, the more diagonal lines there are the more dynamic it will look.

I would get in close, try finding another spot where the ground is falling away from the near side wheel and i would underexpose the sky with some off camera flash

Nice rig! Love the bull bar!
Thanks for sharing.
