I agree it is for everybody.

Unless you want to change the content of an image, LR will do pretty much everything you want. Including some limited cloning. Like removing dust on the sensor (and apply that fix to all your images in a few seconds) or remove toast crumbs from your kids cheek.

As for the organization part, I still upload my picture using the Sony application as it can read more exit data. The file structure doesn't really matter to LR anyways.

Face recognition is the only thing I miss. But it's not really an issue if you will be looking at every pictures anyways.
