I think that the blow outs on the edges of her arms and legs are a little detracting, at first they sort of blend in with the background and make her limbs look slightly misshapen (though the effect is slightly slimming, if that's a positive). I agree I'd have probably toned down the exposure just a bit, and then cloned anything you didn't want in the window out.

Nice photo. I agree with many of what has been said, so no point in repeating. I did want to point out, the one thing that bugs me, and I dunno why...it just does, is the little "hike up" in her underwear on her left leg. Not sure why it bugs me but I wanna pull down on it and make it even. lol

It's not hiked up... her weight is shifted onto one hip, which is why her other one is raised and thus hiding her underwear more. :sillysmi:

Look at her hips... *they're* not even... it's not just the underwear, haha. :sillysmi:

besides the shading on one side not the other makes you think devil or angel =) I like it

I have a feeling this isn't enough for those of you who said the window was too bright, but let's see...

Emily, very nice shot. But with the window frame visible, it looks like you're trying to crucify her. I agree with Robin, the image would be better without the window and frame, as the window does not contribute to the boudoir feeling (unless you are trying to encourage peeping-toms... ). What was your lighting setup?

Uh, my set up?

Light coming through the window... I think I set my exposure to blow out the window... and then I turned the flash on and set exposure on her and made any ambient adjustments I needed after adding the flash.

I just had a 430EXII in an Apollo softbox off to the right and a little above her pointing down.z

That was it. :sillysmi:
