Old Camera Found

Hello All,
I found a Chinon CP-7m Camera with a computerized/thyrustor dedicated flash and macro lens - looks a bit old, I'd guess from the 80's. I happen to be starting to get more serious about photography and thought it was fitting that I found it. Is it worth buying the film for this camera?
