One thing to consider for the Olympus is the cost of lenses. I have talked with several olympus users who say the quality lenses are quite expensive when compared to similar ones of other brands.

I'm seeing about the same prices for the Nikon lenses or at least compatible. Olympus has several groups of lenses. You can still get a quality lens and not have to sell a kidney. Check out the link to view the groups.
