Whilst removing the mirror bumper a small plastic part has dropped out, I know where it's supposed to go, but there's no way to attach it. Is it bonded in place? Thanks in advance

Either glue it in place or just ignore it. If youre not super safe with messy substances then its best to ignore it. I suppose you know the camera is about 50 yrs old. That its still running is remarkable in itself.

I'm not bad with the old glue so I'll use a bit of contact cement. Thanks for the fast response! Everything seems to work, I'm doing the seals just now. 👍🏻

I've still got my zenith e bought new, used it for years. I've had half a dozen digital ones, some high end and they just die inexplicably. And unless you've got a high end printer there's no end result.
