Olympus SP 570 UZ

Hello everyone,

New to TPF, looks like a great site!

I'm starting to look into buying a new digital camera. I'm a beginner and I know I have a lot to learn. I've been doing some research on the Olympus SP 570 UZ and I think it sounds like the kind of camera that I'm looking for. Being a beginner though it would be helpful and very appreciated to get some advice.

I did a search here for the 570 and there were no results for this specific camera. I'm wondering if anyone here uses this camera? What are your likes/dislikes? If you wouldn't recommend this camera what camera would you recommend with similar features? I have looked at quite a few different reviews but I'm trying to collect as much info as I can.

If anyone has any photos they'd like to share taken with the 570 I'd love to see them.
