OMG! There is a scary little bug in my viewfinder!

There is a little bug crawling in the viewfinder. I don't how this bug gets inside. How do I clean inside the viewfinder? Do I need to take an authorized service to get it clean?

It depends on where the little critter is. IE, which side of the pentaprism. Depending on the camera, you might be able to remove the focus screen.

Had to have gotten in when the lens was off so take off the lens..

If the bug looks like this I would get a new camera.
