One of my 2008-Calendars (attn: 13 photos!)

This year's calendar theme was "Angels" for me ... and going from there (and while going through my cemetery pics) I also decided to create another one on "Tombstones" ... and I made two with horizontal pics, and two with vertical pics (and only the vertical ones stayed in the calendar editor I used so I could take screen shots of the preview of each page and show you.

So this is what ONE of them is going to look like:

A pity I cannot show you the horizontal Angel-Calendar in this manner, but I ordered that one through a different print-service...

The calendar looks great, Corinna! You got really good detail in the bas reliefs, and is "September" ever a striking shot! November is a real standout for me too. You must be thrilled with how this turned out.

For the May-angel at Ohlsdorf Cemetery I was about two weeks too late. Two weeks earlier, the rhododendron behind it would still have been in full bloom, and I am sure it would have looked quite good.

Not photowise, but angelwise (if that is a word?), I very much like the "boy-angel" which makes my November photo. While many angels are clearly female (if it comes to their chests), this one is not, though his face is very ... feminine, all the same.

Though I would say, the September-angel is a "man-angel", too.

The shots look even nicer on my desktop monitor than the laptop screen I saw them on last night. When you come to Toronto for a visit some day, I have no doubt you'll be taken to some of our bigger cems with the beautiful statues.

I'll probably try to do a simple landscape calendar.

also thought of unusual architectural perspectives, but there

Yes. Why not. Start taking those twelve poses of you in the nude in the midst of the mess you claim is surrounding you right now! (Or would you have 12 photos of yourself in the nude IN A FOLDER somewhere, ready for use!?!?!?!?!!?)
