One of my favorite shots from my camping trip

I took the ferry over to Vancouver Island. I took lots of shots, mostly of my girlfriend, memories, etc. I took some shots to show off though... this wasn't meant to be one of them, but there's something about it I like.

French Beach (Provincial Park), Vancouver Island. It was fun to drive all around the island (up and down the coast and through Victoria as well).

Drive 10km one way, and there's some great beaches with lots of sand that stretches out, cliffs that are a couple houses high with miniature caves to (not) crawl under. Drive 10km the other way and there's rocky beaches. It has been a while since I visited the island.

Here is a (bit of a crudely done) panorama of the beach we camped up from. It was a bit of a mix of rocks and sand. We were camping a 2 minute walk up from the water:

Looks uncluttered and nice. The log in the fg fits in neatly too. Oh to have a boat entering the frame..........

Aaaand here's a 26608 x 3650 panorama.

Not sure if I could straighten out the horizon easily (toward the left of the shot) without warping things. I'm not sure how much I like Lightroom's RAW panorama stitching.
