Since you asked for C&C.. Neither dog seems interested in the boy or being in the photo; they seem a little bored. I'm not feeling much interest in anything from the boy, either. The DOF could be tighter to further blur that nice simple background. It's a nice family photo, just not very engaging for non-family viewers. I suggest grabbing all 3 subjects' attention just as you release the shutter - snap your fingers, make a noise, howl maybe, something to elicit more emotion and interaction.
