IF yo u where to buy a new canon camera, lets say you will use it mainly for weddings and portrait, wich of these two will be a better buy.
Canon 5D
OR
Canon 7D

Thanks it will be of great help.

I don't understand the question. You asked if the 5D is better than the 7D? I would certainly hope so...

If you can afford the 5D and you're serious about getting good shots, then the answer seems obvious. Your budget is what is going to limit your options.

Ultimately, if you suck at taking pictures, it doesn't matter what camera you have. However, both cameras can produce amazing results in the right hands, so get what you can afford.

Probably i didnt explain my self right sorry.
i am no professional just someone with a passion 4 photography, who wants to upgrade he;s canon t2i, and my two options are either crop sensor or full frame,
in crop version it will be 7D and in full frame 5D.
The question again wich will it make a better camera for portrait.
I know the camera is not all that is require but is a very important tool.
Just like happines is not money, but money its part of happiness. LOL

ok if you put it that way then.
they are both great cameras I have the 7D and will not be upgrading any time soon. I how ever do not shoot weddings or studio portraits. If you will be setting up a studio with proper lighting and have the lenses for the 5D and can afford all then no reason not to get it. If money is an issue and you are still learning as we all are in different levels then the 7D would be the better choice. As for the weddings again ether one would work depending on your budget, experience and most important ability to get a great shot with whatever camera you use.

The camera makes the image and both have excellent IQ, but if you don’t have the eye or experience in giving the customer what they want and expect than you may as well be using a instamatic.
