Opinions/Advice for Photos

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, and also into photography.
I need to help me with your opinions or advice on how to improve my photos.
I am having a final project on the title "Nature and Architecture"
The photos are uploaded in the attachments (they are with all the information of the camera settings inside)

Hi Maria, I didn't get a camera settings reading off your shots but could tell your shutter speed is too low, maybe for these shots you should consider aperture priority mode for a Nikon and AV mode for Canon... that will help you take better shots... good luck!

Hi Maria, welcome to the exciting world of photography! In addition to shutter speed, practice focusing. E.g., in the second shot, you have the focus on the leaves rather than the building in the back...I'm assuming you didn't intend that.

One useful practice is to use back button focus. By default, your camera will focus when you half-press the shutter button. But you can program the button on the back (check your manual) to do the focusing and the shutter to just do the exposure lock (and click of course). E.g., in the second photo case, you could have focused on the building with the back button, and then when you recompose and press the shutter any number of times, the focus would not have changed. Google back button focus for more. Since you're new, you want to get used to this practice right away.

good starts, second shot could have stopped the lens down a little more to increase your depth of field to bring the building more into focus, maybe f/8. same with #3. I like #1, maybe crop the spray out of the bottom right corner.

I guess the biggest thing that jumps out to me is I dont see a clear subject in the images. What caught your eye about these scenes?
