Opinions?

I need opinions on these photos please. Don't be afraid to tell me what I did wrong, because that's what I need. All my friends are like:
"Oooooh... pretty. Look at this black and white picture of just one shoe I took from a chair! Deep right?!"
I know they are a little dark and grainy, sorry =/ These were all taken with my Canon AE-1 Program. The last three were edited.

Is that one big, long picture?

The chalk on the sidewalk would be nice if the lighting was a bit different, but the rest don't even qualify for snapshots. Fix the lighting, focus colors, keep trying.

Next time try to only post a few, and number them or at least seperate them.

#1. I rather like this, 'though I would sugglest a crop (or better yet a re-shoot) to eliminate the houses in the background.

#2. I don't much from this one; an attempt (I believe) to be artsy, but it's a little too over-exposed and soft for my taste.

#3. A cute idea, but I think it needs to be cropped much more tightly on the subject. As well, some levels/curves adjusments to brighten the child.

#4. This would be much stronger, IMO, without the deep shadows on either side.

#5. As per #4; additionally, an off-camera strobe aimed from the upper LH corner of the image to the child would have made this a very strong image.

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

Sorry guys. All the other threads I've used automatically put spaces between pictures, but I'll fix it.

they are alright i like number 1 the best the second one is extremely out of focus and the last 3 seem to be a little dark and a little noisey
