Here is a portrait of our Dog Chulo. He is a TIny male Yorkie, about 9 months old. He is only 2.5-3 lbs.

Maybe a simple plain background would be good for this, could try off-white or beige? But I have to agree the dog is a cutie and looks like it is posing for the shot!=D

Yeah agreed, back ground is not good. THis was taken in the back yard and he just kept running and running around. Lots of energy this dog has. When he hears the shutter sound it freaks him out. Its almost like he thinks a gun is being pointed at him, hahaha.

So what I did was I sat on the ground placed the camera on the ground and used the flip screen on the D750 so that I could view the frame. then I called him over and tried to talk to him with a series of shots. This was the best one. Maybe he will get better if he gets used to the camera.

I also like the crop that was done.
