He's a 1 year old Mastiff. Weighs about 100 pounds now. Vet thinks he will top out around 150. He was an owner surrender. He loves chewing on sticks and is a big sweetheart.

I wouldn't shoot this at 35 mm, there is too much perspective distortion that makes his head look so large.

(I love dogs, have had many, my favorites were standard poodles -smarter than a few of my children.)

There is a bit of distortion there, but the expression you've captured is perfect!

Definitely right about the focal length. Should have moved back a bit and zoomed in, although his head is really really big no matter what. It's slightly out of proportion to his body at any focal length. Lol
