Im not big on heavy post but I think it kinda works. I have seen many paintings like this. The top left draws my attention tho.

This isn't so bad, really. I think it works, except for the odd texture in the sky in the upper left. The "other boat"...the greenish thing? That's not very clear...I think that needs to be removed. The sky could use a few bits of gentle texturing too. I did some images in this style in the early 2000's, and I kind of like this look on some shots; seascapes are a natural for this method.
