Panasonic DMC-FZ18 Good Beginner Camera?

Hello,

My name is Justin and this is my first post on this forum. I am a complete beginner photographer. I recently picked up an unused Panosonic DMC-FZ18 at GoodWill for $8.00. It seems like it is a good camera to learn on. Does/has anyone have/had one? What do/did you think?

Yeap you can learn the basic on this camera, its ancient so don't expect miracle from it especially when it comes to low light performance but you have the basic functions on it so it is absolutely possible to learn basic ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture on it.
