I only have experience with one Panasonic camera, a ZS100. Bought it used and couldn't do a thing with it. Manual with it didn't help at all and was ready to throw it in the lake! Then guy on another site advised me to reset the menu and what donyou know, takes great photo, my go everywhere camera. But I don't fool with it much. I shoot it in "P" mode and haven't even fooled with anything else. Bad as that seems, I wouldn't take twice what I paid for it now. But that user manual is a waste of time unless you have a doc degree in the English language! Seldom I take out my D7000 anymore! But then no idea how to work all the special stuff in it either. One thing I learned when I got into camera's is you really need a high understanding of the English language to figure out cameras. Shoot, all I ever wanted to do was take a picture!
