Nice first attempts. I remember my first attempt, it was a cyclist, too . Nicely slow they are, though they are NO LONGER slow when you try to pan for the first time... whoosh. My panning of the cyclist did not look as much "in motion" as yours does here.

For a while I've been thinking if I might want to show you my panning experiments from start to ... when the desire frizzled out. I might... then you can see my LAME first attempt!

I actually like both. The truck shows lots of power and speed.

^^^^I agree, for me the truck shows a little too much motion, but I really enjoy the cyclist.
