I tried my best with these images. The walkway in the woods is missing something but i dont know what. I also tried to convert the swings into black and white but it turned out odd and im not very good at converting. giver a try and give me your opinions.

Not a fan of the processing on the first and you cut off part of the left swing in the second. Also I feel if you had of used 18mm instead of 24mm then if would have given it a better perspective, and I would have gotten just a tad lower. I like the idea of it I think you should have went with a darker look in the third so I did a quick edit (And again I would have gotten lower to the ground!).

The focal point in the first one, for me anyway, is whatever that white thing is directly in the middle of the frame. That said, theres not much else that catches my eye there. I'm with you in that I can't figure out what the picture needs either. The second picture is stronger, but i feel that too much of the frame is in focus. If the DOF was shallower and the shot reframed to a more interesting angle, it would be better. As for the last shot, Miss Cream's edit makes it a much more interesting shot. With just simple contrast/brightness adjustment and some color correction, all of these shots would benefit. On the third shot I would also crop out some of the left and maybe some of the top, to get rid of dead space, and to shift the dark ending of the path from the middle of the frame.
