Last time I saw Eric Clapton play that song he had the whole place in tears.

I was born about the time that song came out. Story was that my folks saved pennies to pay the 12.00 hospital fee. So I was nicknamed Penny. Name stuck till my early teens. Had a hell of a tie getting the family to call me Ed. Truth is a lot of them still call me Pen. 77 years and still cant shake that moniker. later Ed
