To be funny. I know this seems slightly ironic coming from me, but my attempts at humour can often just be laughed at, which in itself is at the very least still making people laugh.

This guy at work "Zak", I know I've mentioned him before, tries so desperatly to be funny it starting to hurt my head.

I just asked him and a friend where they're headed for lunch, obviously so if they're headed to somewhere that I feel like eating, I'll go along. They mentioned a place that I don't feel like eating so I said "oh...nevermind".

Zak then piped up for no apparent reason than just to try and be funny...

"Oh, you just wanted to know where we're going? Why, so you could be like us?"

Are you retarded? If I wanted to be like you, I would come? And then he looks around like people should be laughing....looks back at me who's just staring like the idiot he is and he's like "Oh, I'm just kidding.." and then pats my shoulder.

No idiot, "kidding" implies "joke"...which consequently means "funny". THAT was NONE of the above. Halfwit.

P.S. My poor spelling and grammar cannot be used against me in this thread. I'm aware. Thanks.

I know what you mean man, it sucks. There was a girl I liked awhile back (a blonde goddess, really), but she was dating some 25 year old guy, and he thought he was the funniest thing ever. She and him and a few others came over to my house one night to hang out and watch movies... during one of the movies, Mark (the 25 year old) was sitting on the floor, and he started batting around a ball of paper like a cat. It was funny for a minute or two, but ten minutes later when he was still doing it, it got pretty old. He's obnoxious and annoying, and he brags about how God gave him a terrific sense of humor. I could kill him.
