I took this photo in Charleston SC off a peer in the harbour. Used a Tamron 75-300mm Telephoto Lens on a Sony a230 DSLR. Let me know what you think!

#1, the horizon is not straight, there is a little too much void on the left side to my taste and maybe cropped a little tight on the bottom. The idea of the seagull looking at the water is nice.
#2, I would personally not be cutting the bottom that much. Also, the colours are very cold and overexposed on the chest feather. Try to reduce the exposition by 1 stop or so (if the original file is not totally blown out and not recoverable). White birds are always a little tricky and required a lower exposition to see the feather details. Maybe try to get more room on the right, so the red eye is not right in the middle. Once again, nice idea, good composition potential to my humble opinion. Some little points that are good to keep in mind when you shoot to keep the PP easier.
Keep them coming!

Thanks Marc! Yeah I had a hard time getting those images. Lots and lots of people there. But I do see what you are saying. I have the originals I can go into lightroom and adjust the exposures. However, the images are "stationary." As in I cannot manipulate the the position of the birds anymore :(

Check out my posts below this one. More seagulls! Flowers too if your into those.

Except for the tilt, i like the first one; Once corrected the tilt, name the image "The Philosopher" ;)

Here is another image that I took off the second one above.
