I finally got the go pro mounted to my Phantom 2 and found some time to test it all out. This is my very first attempt at aerial photography and my first real attempt at video editing. It was shot at 1080 to keep it simple. Anyhow, let me know what you think.

**Warning, it's noisy. I can't figure out how to delete noise from the video using CS6**

Just turn those overhead fans off, it looks to me as though they're what's causing most of the noise.

Then all you would see is an out of control camera tumbling to the ground  My go pro is mounted to a model RC quadcopter.

I think I need something like adobe premiere cut the noise out and replace it with something more entertaining.

Remarkably stable shooting platform. Those rotors are distracting, anyway to lower the camera or raise the quad so you can shoot sans rotors?

I clicked mute and the rendered video and I still have noisy audio?

The main helper is the Gimbal. It helps keep the camera aimed and leveled while filming. I'm not sure how fast the wind was blowing but it was moving the copter around pretty good. Anyhow, i didn't realize how wide angle the lens was. Next time I'll tilt it down a hair to help eliminate the blades.

We always set the GoPro to Medium view so that it takes out the props (unless you change direction really fast).

To remove the audio I usually use the software that GoPro provides. "Save it as" blah blah name then do my additional editing in other software. By doing that I am able to get rid of all prop noise. Nice video. It's fun just flying the phantom around.

In Premiere, right click on the clip and unlink the audio from video. Delete audio in the timeline. The Phantom looks like fun!

So you have to have Premiere?

Can you buy the CD for it?

Yes I have Premiere. You can no longer purchase and have to go the subscription route. You may be able to purchase a used copy, but I would check with Adobe on the activation key. Buyer beware of rip offs.

Premier Elements is a lot cheaper and will do a great job for editing. The program is less than $100.
