Photography fail turns to epic win. C&C Welcomed.

Very cool and nicely done!

Sent from Erics iPhone! (2) Nikon D300 50mm 1.4, 17-55 2.8, 70-200 2.8VRII, 24-70 2.8, 85mm 1.4, (2) SB900

He poured the water out while lying down and then flipped the image so it looks as if it were taken with him standing up. Great idea and very cool!
If he was lying down on his back would his back not be totally flat because its pressed against the floor. Also am I the only one that sees an odd outline around his back. Kind of like a haloish shadow.

He was laying down on something, with his back hanging off of the support, you know, so it wouldn't show. The halo is shadow from the flash.

But there is space behind his back. Well, I do not know much about Photoshopping, so that may be the answer.

You couldn't lay on something, like, let's say a bench, and hook your legs around it so your back is completely off the bench, thus off the floor?
This isn't photoshopping.

I am basing this on my knowledge of what is possible in the physical world.

Very correct, I just lay down and poured water to my face, then tilted 90º. I might try different colors soon.
