Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
G'Day all. As above, I'm very new to photography and would love to see if I am on the right track!

I have recently purchased a Canon 60D and have been playing around with it in the last couple of weeks. Below are a couple of photos with some basic editing through Apples Aperture 3. Please tell me where I have gone wrong or right, and what I could do better.

Here's a link to my Flickr account also. Flickr: thankyouandyourewelcome's Photostream

Thanks guys,
Andrew.

I really like the first and the third.
The second is lacking a subject, and for a landscape, the angle is kinda iffy.

I like the last shot, but I'm not really experienced enough to critique shots of people =p

Thank for the feedback! I'm not 100% sure what you mean by the angle of the landscape shot though? My backyard has roughly a 7 or 8% gradient on it.

Just the angle from which you took the shot, try a higher, or lower spot to shoot the picture from,
the ground, on a ladder, etc.

As for the next shots you put up,
wow, that second one is gorgeous.

Oh ok. Now I get you, I'll try that next time!

Thanks, I am really fond of that shot too :)
