Photopaper instead of negative in a 4*5?

I'm fooling around with the idea. I'm sure I'm not the first one.

Can this be done? What is the ISO of the photopapers?
 
I think it's being done right here!! Have a look in alt technique and look for posts by mysteryscribe. I believe many of them are ISO 5, but Charlie will be able to help you.

Sure you can.

But everything has a price. You'll be limited to contact prints and a reduced density range. ISO 3 - 5 is about right, though you'll want to fine-tune based on experience.

I've read on photo.net that someone found he could use paper negs in an enlarger. It just takes a longer exposure.

I contact print, myself. Mysteryscribe and I are working quite a bit on this in the alt techniques forum--he's more working, I'm more experimenting (when I get time).
