Yes, I did notice the color/blue - I wasn't sure it was the white balance though. I was thinking they were a bit over-exposed maybe? Not being argumentative, just asking - I was playing with the aperture and noticed and one point where the shutter speed had ended up and this was the result I ended up with - the blue picture. Does those two things also have an effect on the white balance?

And it's funny - I actually WAS laying on the ground - I was on a bit of a hill though so I was still a bit higher that my little girl, hence the results I got there.

They are slightly over exposed but that is definitely a white balance issue. Easily fixed in a editing program. Shutter speed and aperture don't have an effect on white balance. Your camera is probably set on AUTO white balance so it will choose the white balance it thinks is correct even if it isn't.g
